TRAINING PROGRAMMES

Histological techniques
Our tailored 2-hour training session focusses on histological techniques to meet the specific needs of our clients. With over a decade of experience in sample preparation including cryo-sectioning and formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissue, we offer expert training in routine staining methods such as H&E, AB&PAS, sirius red and oil droplets, as well as more advanced techniques such as direct and indirect immunofluorescence staining and fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH).

Laser scanning confocal microscope FV3000
This comprehensive 6-hour training, divided into three sessions, combines a theoretical and practical approach to fluorescence microscopy and laser scanning confocal microscopy using the Olympus FV3000 LSCM. We guide you through sample acquisition, from two-dimensional imaging to more complex recording settings, tailored to your requirements.

Incucyte S3
Our 1-hour training session covers the basics of Incucyte S3 acquisition conditions and applications. Additionally, we introduce the image analysis capabilities available with this equipment.

Whole slide scanner VS200
This 2-hour training session using the latest generation Olympus VS200 whole slide scanner includes practical examples of sample acquisition and navigation. We also provide a basic introduction to QuPath image analysis software.

Image analysis workshop
Our 6-hour hands-on image analysis workshop is divided into two sessions. The first session covers the basics of digital image generation and analysis, including the various forms of image collection, along with basic image processing and analysis techniques. The second session covers complex image analysis, including video editing and a deep dive into histocytometry or polychromatic microscopy.

We tailor our sample processing services to meet the specific needs of our clients, offering a range of sectioning services from cryo-sectioning and compresstome, to full paraffin embedding and formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sectioning. Our services can include:
